My thought about "Remix and Remixability" from Lev Manivichmy

I think in Remix and Remixability, Lev Manivich explained that remix can make Old to New. As he mentioned in his column Creative Commons offer a special set of Sampling Licenses, this lets artists and authors invite other people to use parts of their work and make it new.

There are so many new digital materials out there that anybody can create their own art. We can download photos, streaming videos and audio samples from the internet and remix in many different ways.

I also realize from his column that Remix is not only taking pieces from a different topic and mixing them together, more importantly it is a way of many minds creating a new story.
